Many of the vintage items we carry are made from high-quality natural leather. In order to enjoy the unique texture and aging of leather, care and attention are required in daily handling and maintenance.
We hope you will check the following information and enjoy using our products for a long time to come.
■ About the characteristics of leather : Due to the characteristics of natural leather, our products may have wrinkles, scratches, blood vessels, pores, uneven color, etc. These are individual differences inherent in the material and are not defects.
- The color and texture of leather products will change over time and with use. Please enjoy the unique texture that develops with use.
■ Precautions when using the product ● Regarding water and humidity: If the product gets wet, it may cause stains, discoloration, or hardening. Please be careful of rain and sweat.
- If it gets wet, immediately wipe it lightly with a dry cloth and dry it in the shade in a well-ventilated area.
*Please avoid direct sunlight and high temperature drying such as with a hair dryer.
● Prevents the bag from losing its shape or deformation : After use, you can prevent it from losing its shape by putting stuffing (newspaper, soft cloth, etc.) inside to maintain its shape.
- Putting heavy items in the bag for a long time or holding it unevenly may cause the shape to become distorted.
- Avoid storing the product in a way that causes it to be crushed under other objects.
● Regarding color transfer : Friction or moisture may cause color transfer to clothing or other belongings.
- Please be careful as some luxury brand bags, especially CHANEL, are not treated with colorfast processing.
■ Care instructions (maintenance methods) 1. Remove dust from the surface with a leather brush or cloth. Gently wipe the surface with a soft brush or cloth before dirt settles.
Carefully caring for the seams and details will help it last longer.
2. Apply a small amount of maintenance cream to a cloth or sponge. Apply a small amount of cream according to the size of the leather, and be careful not to apply too much as this may cause stains.
The appropriate amount is "enough to feel slightly moist when touched with dry hands."
3. Apply a thin layer of cream to the entire leather, making sure to spread it evenly. Applying a small amount of maintenance oil to zippers and metal parts will help prevent rust.
4. Wipe dry with a cloth Once the cream has been absorbed into the leather, gently wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth.
5. Store in a well-ventilated place. After cleaning, avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity, and store wrapped in the dedicated bag or cloth.
We recommend storing bags and other items in the storage bag they were purchased in.
■Storage method: Store away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, and strong lighting.
・Leather products may fade or discolor due to sunlight or lighting. Please refrain from leaving them near windows, in store displays, inside cars, etc.
- Even if you will not be using the product for a long period of time, such as during the off-season, regularly letting it air out will help prevent mold.
■ Precautions and Consultations : The above care methods are general care methods and do not guarantee complete quality maintenance for all leather products.
- Depending on the material and condition, specialized care may be required, so if you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us below.
All the watches we sell are vintage items.
The condition of each item varies, so please carefully check the condition description and photos on the product page and purchase only if you understand the condition.
■ Handling instructions: Watches are very delicate precision instruments.
Malfunctions or reduced accuracy may occur due to factors such as strong impact, exposure to water, high temperatures and humidity, and magnetism.
Please handle with care and kindness during daily use.
■ About mechanical watches (automatic winding and hand winding)
Your watch may have stopped due to insufficient winding or if it has not been used for a long period of time.
Before use, manually wind the crown and wait until the second hand starts moving before setting the time.
[For hand-wound watches]
If possible, winding your watch at the same time each day will help keep it accurate.
Slowly wind the watch until it stops (it can't be wound any further), then turn it backwards three times before setting the time.
*Some models have specifications that do not allow for a stop winding.
[For automatic watches]
When using an automatic watch that has stopped, first slowly turn the crown to wind the mainspring. Once the second hand starts moving, you can set the time and use the watch.
After that, the watch will be wound automatically by moving your arm while wearing it. However, if you wear it for a short time or do not exercise much, the watch may not be wound properly and its accuracy may become unstable.
To ensure stable operation, we recommend manually winding the watch 10 to 20 times before use.
The operating time (power reserve) varies depending on the model and year, but on average it can be used for approximately 40 to 50 hours when fully wound.
■ About quartz watches (battery operated)
Quartz watches may stop working due to a dead battery, but you can continue to use them as normal by replacing the battery with a new one.
When shipping overseas, the battery may be removed due to safety regulations for air transport. After receiving the watch, please have the battery reloaded at your local watch shop.
We check the functionality of the product before shipping, but please note that we cannot answer questions regarding the remaining battery life.
■ About the warranty [Customers residing in Japan]
We offer a one-year warranty against natural defects from the date of purchase. For details, please refer to the watch warranty card included with the product or the watch warranty information.
If you experience any problems, please contact us first. If necessary, we will send the repair to our affiliated repair shop.
All of the products we sell are vintage items, so some items cannot be repaired by the manufacturer due to the amount of time that has passed since they were manufactured.
In particular, for vintage models that were manufactured more than 50 years ago, the supply of parts is often no longer available, and in most cases the manufacturer is unable to perform repairs.
Therefore, we will handle the repair at our affiliated repair shop. Please note that if genuine parts are not available, repairs may be made using substitute parts.
[For customers residing overseas]
Unfortunately, orders from overseas are not eligible for warranty service.
This is due to a number of reasons, including defects caused by shocks and temperature differences during international transport, limitations on after-sales support systems, and the difficulty of providing support locally.
In the unlikely event of a malfunction, we recommend that you consult your local watch shop or brand boutique.
■ About accessories ・Because it is a vintage item, the original box or case may not be included. Some products may come with a service box, so please be aware of this in advance.
